Enjoying a tasty snack is always a treat, and when you can combine great flavor with cost-savings and zero waste, it’s even better. Almost every part of whole foods can be repurposed. Today, we are sharing a wonderful recipe for crispy potato peel chips. Let’s get started!

Ingredients for Potato Peel Chips:

  • Potato peels (any variety);
  • Salt to taste;
  • Black pepper to taste;
  • Smoked paprika to taste;
  • Extra-virgin olive oil to taste.

How to Make Potato Peel Chips:

  1. Thoroughly wash the potato peels and pat them completely dry with paper towels;
  2. Place the peels in a bowl and season with salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and olive oil (all to taste);
  3. Toss everything well with your hands to ensure the peels are evenly coated;
  4. Arrange the seasoned peels in your air fryer basket;
  5. Air fry at 350°F (180°C) for 10 minutes. At the 5-minute mark, give the basket a good shake to ensure even cooking, then return to the air fryer;
  6. Keep an eye on them; if they need more time, add a few extra minutes, as cooking times vary depending on your air fryer’s power and model;
  7. Once crispy and golden, remove and place them in a bowl lined with paper towels to absorb any excess oil;
  8. That’s it! Enjoy your snack!

Tips:

You can make them plain or experiment with your favorite seasonings—add as much or as little as you like to create your own signature potato peel chips.
