How to make the Orange Cake with Syrup:

Cake Batter:

  1. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until well combined.
  2. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  3. Pour in the orange juice, then gradually sift in the flour. Mix until smooth and well incorporated.
  4. Fold in the orange zest.
  5. Finally, gently stir in the baking powder.
  6. Grease and flour a cake pan, then pour the batter in evenly.
