A Fun Fact About Brazilian Barbecue:
In Brazil, “churrasco” refers to any meat roasted over an open fire or barbecue grill. Styles range from the southern “fogo de chão” (ground fire), where meat is roasted on large spits, to standard charcoal grilling elsewhere.
While charcoal is the most common heat source due to its convenience, traditionalists prefer firewood. Gas and electric grills are also popular alternatives.
Seasoning varies by local custom, ranging from simple coarse salt to complex spice rubs. While beef is the star, pork, lamb, poultry, and sausages are also staples (Source: Wikipedia).
