Ingredients for Baked Tilapia with Orange Sauce:

  • 2 Tilapia fillets, cleaned;
  • Juice of 1 navel orange;
  • 1 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning;
  • Black pepper to taste;
  • Salt to taste;
  • 1 onion, sliced;
  • 4 garlic cloves;
  • 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil.

How to Prepare Baked Tilapia with Orange Sauce:

  1. Place the fish fillets in a baking dish and set aside;
  2. In a small bowl, add the olive oil;
  3. Whisk in the orange juice, lemon pepper, salt, and black pepper to taste;
  4. Pour half of the mixture over the fish, flip the fillets, and pour the remaining sauce over the other side;
  5. Arrange the sliced onions around and over the fish;
  6. Add the whole garlic cloves (skin on) around the fish;
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) until the fish is cooked through and lightly golden on top;
  8. It’s ready to serve. Enjoy!
