We all know that traditional chocolate ganache is a delight. In fact, we have a recipe for the classic version here on the blog too. Today, we’re stepping it up and sharing a recipe for white chocolate ganache that we’re sure you’ll love. Let’s get to the recipe!
Ingredients for White Chocolate Ganache:
- 7 oz (approx. 200g) white chocolate, chopped;
- 1/2 cup (120ml) heavy cream;
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter.
How to Make White Chocolate Ganache:
- In a microwave-safe bowl or using a double boiler, melt the white chocolate until smooth and creamy;
- Meanwhile, in a small saucepan over low heat, gently warm the heavy cream and butter until it just begins to simmer;
- Remove from heat;
- Add the melted chocolate to the cream mixture and stir until fully combined and smooth;
- Allow it to cool until it reaches your desired consistency;
- Finish with a bit of lemon zest for a special touch (optional).
Pro Tip:
For a firmer ganache, let it cool to room temperature and then refrigerate for a few hours. For a thinner, pourable consistency, use slightly less chocolate or more heavy cream.
