Sprtiz! Um drink de licor de laranja super refrescante

We’ve previously shared a recipe for homemade orange liqueur, and if you haven’t checked it out yet, go take a look! Now, let’s put that liqueur to good use with this refreshing Orange Liqueur Spritz.

Ingredients for the Spritz:

  • 1 oz Orange liqueur;
  • 1 oz Club soda;
  • 1 oz White wine or Prosecco;
  • 1 orange slice;
  • Ice cubes to taste.

How to make the Spritz:

  1. In your serving glass, add ice cubes to taste, followed by an orange slice.
  2. Pour in the 1 oz of orange liqueur.
  3. Next, add the club soda and the white wine or Prosecco.
  4. Stir gently and enjoy your drink!

Tips:

You can use any orange liqueur of your choice. For a delicious twist, try making ice cubes out of coconut water or orange juice instead of plain water. To take it to the next level, we recommend placing a fresh mint leaf in each ice cube mold before freezing—it looks and tastes incredible.

Did You Know?

The orange liqueur-based cocktail known as the “Spritz” originates from the Veneto region of Italy. It is a highly refreshing drink, especially popular during the Italian summer. Its history dates back to the 19th century, when the region was occupied by the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Austrian soldiers, accustomed to heavier wines, began diluting them with sparkling water to make them lighter and more refreshing. Later, orange liqueurs like Aperol or Campari were added to provide extra flavor and color. Today, the Spritz is a classic staple of Italian culture, enjoyed by locals and visitors alike.
