Ingredients for Chocolate Fondue:
- 3.5 oz (100g) milk chocolate;
- 2.6 oz (75g) semi-sweet chocolate;
- 3/4 cup heavy cream (approx. 5 oz / 150g);
- 1 cup chopped chocolate (approx. 4.5 oz / 130g).
How to Prepare Chocolate Fondue:
- Melt the milk chocolate and semi-sweet chocolate using a double boiler or in the microwave;
- Add the heavy cream to the melted chocolate and stir until smooth;
- Pour the mixture into a bowl and let it cool until it reaches your desired consistency;
- On a tray lined with plastic wrap, spread a thin layer of the chocolate mixture to form the base of your bowl;
- Inflate a small balloon, tie it, and dip it into the melted chocolate. Rotate it to get an even layer of chocolate on the balloon;
- Place the chocolate-coated balloon onto the prepared chocolate base on the tray;
- Allow it to set and harden;
- Carefully remove the balloon to reveal your edible chocolate bowl, then fill it with your favorite fruits;
- Serve your fondue immediately and enjoy!
- Bon appétit!
Pro Tip:
To melt the chocolate in the microwave, use 30-second intervals, stirring in between until completely smooth. Alternatively, a double boiler works perfectly. Choose whichever method you prefer.
