- 3.4 fl oz (100 ml) water (start with 1.7 fl oz / 50 ml and add the rest gradually if needed)
- 2 tablespoons sugar (optional, for a sweeter version)
How to Prepare Homemade Corn Flakes:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the fine cornmeal, coarse cornmeal, all-purpose flour, and crushed saltine crackers.
- Add the salt and mix all ingredients well.
- Add the oil and mix again.
- Now, add 1.7 fl oz (50 ml) of water to the mixture and combine. If the dough hasn’t reached the ideal consistency, add the remaining water gradually.
- Knead the dough until it is firm enough to shape.
