Ingredients for Homemade Cookies:

  • 1 Egg
  • 1 1/3 cups (approx. 7 oz) Sweet Cassava Starch (Tapioca Starch)
  • 1/4 cup (approx. 4 tbsp) Butter, at room temperature
  • 1/3 cup (approx. 3 oz) Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Baking powder

How to Make Homemade Cookies:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the sweet cassava starch, sugar, butter, egg, and baking powder using your hands. Mix until you have a smooth, homogeneous dough.
  2. Take small portions of the dough.
  3. Roll them into small balls using your hands.
  4. Optional: Use the handle of a wooden spoon or a similar tool to press a hole into the center of each ball.
  5. Grease a baking sheet with butter and arrange the cookies on it.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for 15 minutes.
  7. Remove from the oven and allow them to cool completely before serving.
