- Add the onions and garlic, sautéing until fragrant and golden.
- Add the pig’s foot, pig’s tail, spare ribs, bacon, Paio, and Linguiça. Stir well to combine all ingredients.
- Add the bay leaves and cover the ingredients with water. Simmer on low heat for at least 6 hours, stirring occasionally and adding more water as needed to keep everything submerged.
- After 6 hours, the Maniçoba is ready when all meats are tender and the broth has thickened into a rich, flavorful stew.
