  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar;
  • 1 tbsp melted butter;
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch;
  • 1 can (15 oz) sweet corn, drained;
  • 2 cans (use the empty corn can as a measure) whole milk;
  • Ground cinnamon to taste, for dusting.

How to Make Sweet Corn Porridge:

  1. In a blender, add the drained sweet corn;
  2. Add the butter, milk, sugar, and cornstarch;
  3. Blend until smooth;
  4. Pour the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a saucepan;
  5. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens to your desired consistency;
  6. Transfer to serving bowls and sprinkle with cinnamon;
  7. Enjoy!

Tip:

For an even creamier texture, swap the sugar for sweetened condensed milk. Cook on low heat, stirring continuously to prevent it from sticking to the bottom of the pot.
