The Caipirinha is already a 100% Brazilian drink, something we all know, no wonder it’s always present at parties and celebrations and never missing from a restaurant’s menu. Our recipe for this drink today is the Kiwi Caipirinha.

Ingredients to prepare the kiwi caipirinha:

  • 1.5 shots (5 oz) of vodka, sake, or cachaça of your choice;
  • 4 slices of mashed kiwi (very ripe kiwi);
  • 1 teaspoon of honey;
  • 8 mint leaves;
  • Ice cubes to taste;
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar.

How to prepare the kiwi caipirinha:

  1. First, place the kiwi slices and mint in a shaker (if you don’t have one, use a tall glass with a lid);
  2. Add the sugar and crush with a muddler;
  3. Now add some ice cubes and a teaspoon of honey;
  4. Add the selected spirit and shake well;
  5. Pour the caipirinha into a glass;
  6. To add an extra touch, garnish with kiwi slices and mint leaves if desired;
  7. Enjoy with some tasty appetizers!

Tips:

You can use the same base recipe and vary the flavor by using strawberries, grapes, watermelon, pineapple, or even mixing multiple fruits—it’s excellent!
