Ingredients for Peanut Butter Brigadeiros:

  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1/2 can (approx. 5 oz) table cream (or heavy cream)
  • 4 units of paçoca (Brazilian peanut candy, crushed with a fork)
  • Crushed roasted peanuts (skinless) for coating

How to make Peanut Butter Brigadeiros:

  1. In a non-stick saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat;
  2. Next, add the sweetened condensed milk and mix well;
  3. Stir in the table cream and the crushed paçoca;
  4. Cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and begins to pull away from the bottom of the pan (brigadeiro point);
  5. Grease a plate with a little butter, pour the mixture onto it, and let it cool completely;
  6. Once cooled, grease your hands, roll the mixture into small balls, and coat them with the crushed peanuts;
  7. They are ready! Enjoy these delights on their own, served with ice cream, or paired with a hot cup of coffee!
