Ingredients for Super Easy Bread Pudding:

  • 1 French baguette (preferably day-old);
  • 5 Eggs;
  • 3½ cups of whole milk;
  • 1 cup of sugar;
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract;
  • ½ cup of melted butter;
  • 1½ cups of brown sugar;
  • 1½ cups of peeled pecan halves.

How to prepare Super Easy Bread Pudding:

  1. First, cut the bread into cubes and let them dry for about an hour;
  2. Next, preheat the oven to 350°F;
  3. Beat the eggs in a large bowl until well combined;
  4. Add the milk, sugar, and vanilla, and mix;
  5. Place the bread cubes in a baking dish and soak them with the milk and egg mixture;
  6. Melt the butter with the brown sugar and stir well, then add the pecans and mix;
  7. Pour the mixture from step 4 over the soaked bread and gently fold;
  8. Fold the bread so that the pecans are evenly distributed throughout the bread pudding;
  9. Bake until the top is lightly browned or for about 45 to 55 minutes;
  10. Let it cool for at least 20 minutes and serve!
