The Ultimate Moscow Mule with Ginger Foam Recipe

Moscow Mule

Ginger Syrup Ingredients:

  •  1 cup water
  •  1 cup granulated sugar
  •  1 piece of fresh ginger, sliced
  •  1 cinnamon stick

Ginger Foam Ingredients:

  •  1.7 oz ml fresh ginger juice (grated and strained)
  •  3.4 oz ml ginger syrup
  •  3.4 oz ml fresh lime juice
  •  1.7 oz ml fresh or pasteurized egg white
  •  ½ can Club soda or citrus soda to top off

Moscow Mule Cocktail Ingredients:

  •  1.7 oz ml vodka
  •  1.7 oz ml ginger syrup
  •  1.7 oz ml fresh lime juice
  •  ice cubes
  •  Club soda or ginger beer
  •  ginger foam

Instructions: Ginger Syrup:

In a saucepan, combine the water, sugar, cinnamon stick, and sliced ginger. Bring to a boil and let it simmer until reduced by half. Do not stir while boiling to prevent crystallization (you may stir briefly before turning on the heat to dissolve the sugar). Strain and let it cool completely.

Instructions: Ginger Foam:

Add all ingredients (lime juice, ginger juice, ginger syrup, egg white, and soda) into a whipped cream siphon. Ensure there is enough headspace for the gas. Close it and refrigerate until ready to use. Before serving, charge the siphon with one N2O cartridge, shake well, and let it rest for 30 minutes. This recipe makes enough foam for approximately 10 drinks.

Instructions: Moscow Mule Assembly:

Add vodka, lime juice, and ginger syrup to a copper mug. Fill with ice, then slowly top with club soda or ginger beer. Stir gently with a bar spoon to preserve carbonation. Top generously with the ginger foam. Garnish with lime zest, a lime wheel, or fresh ginger slices.
