Ingredients for blackberry oatmeal porridge:
- 1/2 cup rolled oats (or oat bran/flour);
- 1 1/2 cups coconut milk;
- 8 fresh blackberries;
- Granola to taste;
- Sliced strawberries to taste;
- Vanilla extract to taste;
- Blueberries to taste.
How to make blackberry oatmeal porridge:
- Take a heavy-bottomed saucepan;
- Add the coconut milk and oats to the pot and mix well;
- Stir in the blackberries;
- Simmer over low heat, stirring constantly and mashing the blackberries to extract their color and flavor;
- Once cooked, turn off the heat and transfer to a serving bowl;
- If desired, top with granola, sliced strawberries, and blueberries;
