Ingredients for blackberry oatmeal porridge:

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats (or oat bran/flour);
  • 1 1/2 cups coconut milk;
  • 8 fresh blackberries;
  • Granola to taste;
  • Sliced strawberries to taste;
  • Vanilla extract to taste;
  • Blueberries to taste.

How to make blackberry oatmeal porridge:

  1. Take a heavy-bottomed saucepan;
  2. Add the coconut milk and oats to the pot and mix well;
  3. Stir in the blackberries;
  4. Simmer over low heat, stirring constantly and mashing the blackberries to extract their color and flavor;
  5. Once cooked, turn off the heat and transfer to a serving bowl;
  6. If desired, top with granola, sliced strawberries, and blueberries;
  7. Ready to serve. Enjoy!

Suggestions:

If you prefer your porridge a little sweeter, you can add honey, brown sugar, or your favorite sweetener. Feel free to mix and match your favorite toppings!
