Making flan has never been easier! Today, we are sharing how to make Air Fryer Flan. Once you try this method, you’ll never want to make it any other way. Let’s get to the recipe!

Ingredients for Air Fryer Flan:

  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk;
  • Whole milk (use the empty condensed milk can to measure);
  • 3 large eggs;
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (for the caramel).

How to make Air Fryer Flan:

  1. Start by beating the eggs in a blender for about 1 minute until smooth;
  2. Add the sweetened condensed milk;
  3. Fill the empty condensed milk can with whole milk and pour it into the blender;
  4. Blend everything for about another minute and set aside;
  5. In your flan mold (or a small cake pan that fits your air fryer), add the sugar evenly to the bottom;
  6. Place the mold on the stovetop over medium heat, stirring constantly until the sugar turns into a golden caramel;
  7. Once it reaches your desired color but is still liquid, turn off the heat;
  8. Carefully tilt and rotate the mold to coat the bottom and sides with the caramel;
  9. Once the caramel has set slightly, pour the flan mixture into the mold;
  10. Cover the mold tightly with aluminum foil;
  11. Air fry at 350°F (180°C) for 45 minutes;
  12. Test with a toothpick—if it comes out clean, it’s done. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to chill;
  13. After chilling, place the mold on the stovetop for about 30 seconds to loosen the caramel;
  14. Run a knife around the edges and invert onto a plate carefully. Enjoy!

Pro Tip:

Make sure you use a mold that fits comfortably inside your air fryer basket. Always cover the mold tightly with aluminum foil to prevent steam or water from getting into the flan.
