  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened;
  • 1 cup heavy cream;

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder;
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt;
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened;
  • 2 cups granulated sugar;
  • 4 large eggs.

How to Make Velvet Cupcakes:

  1. Before starting, preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C);
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking soda. Set aside;

  12. Once cooled, frost the top of the cupcakes with cream cheese;
