Ingredients for Vegan Condensed Milk:

  • 2 tablespoons melted coconut oil;
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt;
  • 1/2 cup hot water;
  • 1 cup plant-based milk powder;
  • 3/4 cup raw cane sugar (demerara sugar).

How to Make Vegan Condensed Milk:

  1. Add the plant-based milk powder and the raw cane sugar to a blender and pulse until well combined;
  2. Ensure the sugar is finely processed;
  3. Add the remaining ingredients (coconut oil, salt, and hot water) and blend for about 2 minutes;
  4. The mixture should be smooth and creamy;
  5. Transfer to an airtight container. If not using immediately, store in the refrigerator for up to one week;
  6. Note: It will naturally thicken when chilled.

Tips:

You can use any plant-based milk powder you prefer. Rice, soy, or coconut milk powders are the most popular choices. Keep in mind that using coconut milk powder may result in a slightly thinner consistency compared to soy or rice options.
