Ingredients for Pumpkin Bread:
- 300g of cooked pumpkin;
- 500g of all-purpose flour;
- 150ml (2/3 cup) of milk;
- 1 Egg;
- 1 Tablespoon of melted butter;
- 1 Tablespoon of vanilla extract;
- 2 Tablespoons of sugar;
- ½ Teaspoon of salt;
- 10g of active dry yeast.
How to Prepare Pumpkin Bread:
- In a blender, add milk, vanilla extract, egg, salt, and sugar;
- Add cubed cooked pumpkin (peeled), squeezing out excess moisture, to the blender;
- Blend on high speed for 2 minutes;
- In a bowl, mix flour and yeast;
- Pour in the blender mixture;
- Add the melted butter and mix well;
- Gradually add more flour while kneading by hand;
- Knead on a floured surface until smooth and elastic;
- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rest for 40 minutes;
- On a floured surface, roll out the dough;
- Roll into a log;
- Cut into small loaves or shape into one loaf;
- Place in a greased pan, dust with flour, and let rest 20-25 minutes;
- Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 25-35 minutes until golden brown;
