Today’s recipe is crispy fried chicken—not your basic version, but the kind that’s perfectly crunchy, juicy, and delicious. It pairs beautifully with rice and beans, makes for a great snack, or even a hearty sandwich. Let’s get cooking!

Ingredients for crispy fried chicken:

  • 10 chicken pieces (drumsticks, wings, or flats);
  • 3 large eggs, beaten;
  • 1 cup milk;
  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour;
  • 1 tablespoon dried garlic, parsley, and onion blend;
  • 1 tablespoon hot paprika;
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper;
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano;
  • Salt to taste;
  • Neutral frying oil (like vegetable or canola).

How to make fried chicken:

  1. In a bowl, mix the milk with the garlic, parsley, onion blend, paprika, black pepper, and oregano.
  2. Add the chicken pieces to the marinade.
  3. Let it marinate for 20 to 30 minutes.
  4. In a separate bowl, season the flour with salt and pepper to taste; set aside.
  5. To bread the chicken, coat each piece in the flour for the first layer.
  6. Next, dip the pieces into the beaten eggs.
  7. Finally, coat them again in the flour for a perfect crust.
  8. Repeat for all pieces.
  9. Deep fry the chicken in hot oil for 10 to 15 minutes.
  10. Turn the pieces during frying to ensure they turn golden brown on all sides.
  11. Place the fried chicken on paper towels to drain excess oil.
  12. Enjoy!
