Did you know?
The origins of white chocolate are often debated. Some reports suggest that an American from New Hampshire began crafting the confection after observing it in Europe following World War I. Another account suggests that the Walter Baker & Company published a recipe for “vanilla tablets” in 1913, which were later rebranded as the “white chocolate” we know today. Meanwhile, Nestlé claims to have produced the first white chocolate bars at their European factory in the 1930s (Source: Wikipedia).
